Fresh Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 C fresh basil
  • 1/4 C pine nuts

Instructions

  1. Add the garlic, pine nuts, basil and salt to the bowl of a food processor and whir until the mixture is evenly chopped.
  2. While the machine is still running gradually add the olive oil and let run until fully incorporated.
  3. Scrape into a bowl and add the parmesan. Stir to completely blend it into the mixture.
  4. Will keep in the refrigerator up to two weeks.
