My mother is a master trailmix maker. She always knew the right assortment of nuts, fruits and other tid bits made for the perfect combination to match whatever road trip, hike or day of errands we had ahead of us. This spoon recipe is an homage to her.
The spoonful: Start with a tablespoon of MaraNatha® No-Stir Raw Maple Almond Butter. On a cutting board combine a tablespoon of each: SunSpire™ Organic Fair Trade 65% Cocoa Bittersweet Baking Chips, dried pineapple, dried cranberries and shredded dried coconut. Chop all of that up into a rough mince then dip the spoon into the mixture and you'll have a spoonful that has a little bit of all the flavors in it. If you just so happen to double dip after the first bite, well, that's entirely up to you.
